Volleyball BC is a non-profit organization, HQ in Burnaby, that actively encourages participation and fosters the development of volleyball in BC. As a provincial sport governing body, we are dedicated to making volleyball accessible to all British Columbians. Volleyball BC offers programs for athletes of all ages ranging from grassroots to high performance, as well as coaches and officials. As part of our mission, Volleyball BC is proud to host provincial, national and international events to showcase the sport of volleyball to all members of our province.
Volleyball BC partner with SportLoMo
The provincial governing body of British Columbia Volleyball and Sportlomo, the fastest-growing software provider of sports technology in Canada, announce a strategic alliance.
The newly forged partnership will play an important role in accelerating the development of volleyball in British Columbia.
Volleyball BC will use the Sportlomo platform to manage competition data for its website, update league standings, manage game officials, umpire management and electronic team rosters. This information will be made available to clubs and the public via the internet and other electronic media.

Sportlomo will also take over as the official Membership Registration System for Volleyball BC and its regional bodies. Clubs will be offered the facility to manage their membership and take online payments for registration and events on Sportlomo.
Speaking about their appointment, Seamus Kyne, CEO of SportLoMo said “We are very proud to be selected to partner with one of British Columbia’s most prestigious sports. Our work with sports at regional and national level gives us a terrific insight into the technology needs of sports and we very much look forward to working with Volleyball BC.”
The Volleyball BC Provincial Championships is the largest volleyball tournament in British Columbia, and features club teams from all regions of BC. This competition is the culmination of a season of competitive club volleyball and gives teams the chance to be crowned Provincial Champions. In 2018, over 375 teams took part in the Provincial Championships.
The Harry Jerome Sports Center is a 53,000 sq sports facility located in Burnaby, BC. (20 mins from Downtown Vancouver). It is the primary programming location for many volleyball & other sporting events as well as the home of the Volleyball BC offices.
