Snow Season in Scotland
The season usually runs from December through to early April, but this varies depending on snowfall. Snowconditions are very changeable, but are generally best from January to April. School holidays, such as February halfterm, can be busy while midweek skiing during term time is generally much quieter.
Credentials and Qualficiations
Online Education Platform modified for Snowsport Scotland and launched 12th July 2019
Snowsport Scotland have launched their new membership platform with Sportlomo and in conjunction with Snowsport have created an innovative method for their members and coaches to track the qualifications and professional development of their membership.
- Offer members the ability to sign up and pay for training courses within the Sportlomo system.
- Set parameters around what membership category can sign up to which courses.
- Create courses and specify what rewards the member achieves after passing the course.
- Allow members to review what qualifications they have gained, what credentials are required to go to the next level and when the next courses are scheduled.
- Allow only certified members to take advanced courses.Allow members to upload their own credentials to the system and administrators can approve these credentials.
- Create/set-up tutors who can track and can assign results to their members.
- Set ‘Wait lists’ for oversubscribed courses and offer priority sign up to specified members.
- SportLoMo allows you to assess and track continuous professional development of your membership.
